Story of KFC

I would like to share some history of Kentucky Fried Chicken(KFC) for you guys to know more about KFC. 

KFC is one of the world's most popular fast food restaurant chains in the world. It founded by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1930. he was discovered his penchant for cooking when he was only 9 years old. The Colonel decided that his Original Recipe needed to be introduced to people further from his home and from his state. At the age of 66, he started selling his idea of Kentucky Fried Chicken by traveling from town to town, preparing his famous chicken recipe for restaurants and their employees.

Nowadays,more than 12 million customers are served at KFC restaurants in 109 countries and territories around the world. Furthermore, KFC operates more than 15,000 restaurants around the world today.

“It's Finger Lickin' Good”

How this slogan developed from? Colonel Sanders appeared on national Television to promote the idea of Kentucky Fried Chicken. He always licked his fingers as he described the Original Recipe taste to viewers.

The first KFC restaurant was opened in 1973 on Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Today there are more than 390 KFC Restaurants nationwide and still counting.
